Activated alumina is aluminum oxide in the form of very porous spheres that are literally “tunneled” at the microscopic level. It is no corruptive ,non toxic ,and has close affinity to polar molecule.Shanghai Guangji activated alumina has many different applications, one of the most important of which being desiccation, the adsorption of water. As a desiccant, activated alumina can be used to dry compressed air and other gas and liquid streams. Additionally, the adsorbent is often used to purify gas streams by the selective adsorption of specific molecules. Activated alumina also has water filtration and catalyst applications
